Come along for the journey!

from-ka-3.jpg

The idea for this blog really originated almost a year ago — a friend gave me a copy of Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth for Christmas — and watching it had a major impact on me.   It started me thinking, and I ended up taking a closer look at how I live my life, thinking about the places and people that I am passionate about.  A photographer ever since I was a kid, I primarily take shots of the outdoors — landscapes of places I live, play and travel — and I decided to share those images, and the thoughts behind the shots with a larger audience — and I invite you to take a look at the beauty of the earth as I see it.

I will also have guest bloggers who will share their thoughts on a variety of topics including health, wellness, the outdoors, fitness, and more — basically our thoughts on living well and appreciating each other and all that our fabulous world has to offer.

I am also working on a series of interviews with cool people I know who have traveled – explored – or just have a unique voice and are willing to share their thoughts – and sometimes their photos – of places they have been.

. . . .  SO — come along for the journey!

  1. We are in an unruly place, not physically. Our overpopulation has driven this world beyond its capabilites. I am just as guilty as you for my use of electronics and gas and heat and recreation. I can’t preach that you can’t ever sit in a hot tub, but we perhaps can undertand the trouble that we are in.
But in this trouble, I would much rather learn and share with others, than fear and distance from others. Creating anger based on greed can never win. ,
There is a desire to steal more. Be it Taking Iraqs oil, Americas pharmaceuticlas, or any other big company’s plans.

When you steal it all what will you do next/?

Will you still feel good when its empty?

  2. Seems to work just fine, mupps. *waves madly* I’m glad you have opened a blog. I’m on Live Journal most often misbehaving most egregiously. That makes you a blogger and me a journalist. *rye grin* Thanks for inviting me on the show.
    Best of luck!

    Love from Rollergirl

  3. Thanks, Rollergirl! -working on adding some slide shows next — plus interviews! Should be cool stuff – come back and check it out!

  4. Thanks so much for including me. I am hoping for good vibes for all reading this log.
